[Kathryn Baker-Reed and Tory Baker-Reed] have opened the Thrive Centre out of their home in Smiths Falls, where they have carved out an inclusive space to provide greater access for therapy and counselling services. Before opening the Thrive Centre, Kathryn never had to charge for her services and knows that wait-lists are long for publicly funded supports and costs remain barriers for those without private insurance. This is why Kathryn decided to open up sliding-scale spaces for clients with prices that are below market value for her services to open up the accessibility of their space for more people.
