Confidentiality and Limits to Confidentiality

Information shared in sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed without your written permission. However, Ontario law and professional guidelines require information discussed in sessions/group to be shared under the following conditions:
1. If you are at imminent risk to harm yourself
or another person;
2. If you disclose information related to
child or elder abuse;
3. If you disclose information concerning assault or abuse by a health professional;
